Ukraine approves agreement with EU to increase budget of reform support program
MOSCOW. March 1 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has approved an agreement with the European Commission to increase the general budget of the EU Support for Recovery and Reforms program to 374 million euros, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.
"Today, we're approving the EU Support for Recovery and Reforms agreement between the Ukrainian government and the European Commission. The agreement envisions increasing the program's general budget to 374 million euros. These funds should finance the reconstruction of infrastructure elements, support for small-size farms and other agricultural producers, and the upgrade of crossing points on the EU border," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying at a government meeting on Friday.
