Interfax Group and Estates Gazette Group, Europe’s Top Real Estate Publishing Group, Announce Joint English-Language Real Estate Report for Russia and the CIS and Central Europe

Interfax Information Services Group (Interfax Group) and the Estates Gazette Group, publisher of Europe’s top real estate publication, Estates Gazette, have signed an agreement to launch an English-language weekly dedicated to real estate markets in Russia and Central Europe.

The new bulletin, titled Real Estate Report, will cover all aspects of commercial real estate, including the activities of real estate agencies, investment banks, personal investors, developer and construction companies in Russia and the CIS, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary.

An electronic edition of the Real Estate Report will be available to subscribers in spring 2008, with a print edition to follow.

The report will offer unprecedented coverage of the Russian and CIS markets, as well as those of Central Europe, thanks to Interfax journalists based in Moscow, Warsaw, Prague and Budapest, as well as in other key cities throughout Russia, Ukraine, Romania and Kazakhstan.

The most significant and interesting items from the new publication will appear in a special monthly supplement to the English-language version of the world-known magazine Estates Gazette.

Estates Gazette will handle publication, marketing and distribution, and a hardcopy, special section including the month’s top stories will appear once a month in Estates Gazette’s UK edition.

Director of Interfax Global Services Michal Broniatowski, whose area of responsibility includes business development beyond Russia and the CIS, said: "This publication offers the first and unique chance to leading developers in Russia, the CIS and Central Europe to make themselves better known to the global investment community, present large-scale projects, arouse interest among their potential partners, and do joint business with international specialists on investment in commercial real estate".

"Increasing numbers of developer and construction companies in the region are looking to international capital markets in search of alternative methods of financing, including loans and IPO’s. However, Western market participants know practically nothing about these businesses. The new joint publication by Interfax and Estates Gazette offers companies operating in the emerging European markets opportunity to show their openness and transparency and will enable the global investment community to closely follow developments in this rapidly growing market," Broniatowski said.

Publishing Director of Estates Gazette Geoff Hadwick expressed confidence that Estate Gazette’s cooperation with Interfax will result in an important weekly bulletin for the market.

"The award-winning Estates Gazette is the leading product in the sector, and Interfax is the time-tested, top provider of news and business information in its field," Hadwick said. "The cooperation between Estates Gazette and Interfax will offer readers an unrivaled and vital source of information on this very interesting region."
