“The new service is most important for customers when disclosure of information about a bidder is required. In addition to getting briefs by the main parameters, customers will also be able to check a company’s affiliations and creditworthiness free of charge, and then quickly make a decision on whether to work with a specific supplier,” UETP CEO Anton Yemelyanov said.
Interfax Vice President and SPARK project director Roman Laba said that “information from the SPARK system makes it possible to increase the reliability of electronic trading procedures and improve the quality of risk management, minimizing the chances of a customer making a mistake in the selection of a supplier.”
When considering bids from participants in procurements, the SPARK system allows UETP clients to obtain the following information:
• Company details, information about current status, information about registration with registration authorities
• Information about the structure of a company and its management
• Financial statements, adapted for fundamental analysis
• Financial and payment ratios, including information about audits
• Scores, including credit risks and the risk of a company being unreliable
