This platform, which has been designated SPARK-Marketing (www.marketing.interfax.ru), expands Interfax‘s line of marketing-oriented products, enhancing information on companies with data concerning their trade and procurement activities, goods and services.
The data foundation for the system is public information about state purchases presented on the open portal www.zakupki.gov.ru, as well as information from electronic trading floors.
"The system provides the opportunity to put together a precise sampling for the evaluation of a specific market, the determination of its main players, evaluation of the environment, and to conduct a complex, multi-factor analysis of the sphere of state purchases," head of the SPARK-Marketing project Galina Dzhanbayeva said. SPARK-Marketing, she said, is the only instrument on the Russian market that makes possible to systematically reveal signs of propensity for corruption or fraud in the placement of state orders.
In the very nearest future, the system will be enhanced with information revealed in line with federal law #223 "On the purchase of goods, work, and services by separate types of legal entity."
