Ukraine terminates veterinary medicine cooperation agreement with Belarus

MOSCOW. May 10 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has terminated the agreements with Belarus on cooperation in veterinary medicine and in plant quarantine and protection.

A decision to this effect was adopted at a government meeting last Friday, Ukrainian media said, citing the government's representative to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk as saying.

The Ukraine-Belarus agreement on cooperation in veterinary medicine that has been terminated was signed in Mozyr, Belarus, on August 1, 2002.

The agreement on cooperation in plant quarantine and protection was signed in Minsk on November 7, 2013.
