National Bank of Ukraine transfers record 71.87 bln hryvni of 2022 profit to state budget

MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) transferred 71.87 billion hryvni of its profit for 2022 to the country's budget on April 27, Ukrainian media said on Thursday, citing the NBU press service said.

It is the largest portion of the NBU's profit ever transferred to the state budget, the bank said.

As reported, the NBU board on April 24 endorsed the transfer of 79%, or 71.87 billion hryvni of its distributable profit for 2022, to the state budget. The remaining amount will be transferred to the NBU's reserves.

The NBU's 2022 profit prior to distribution stood at 91 billion hryvni.
