Novak, Nabiullina to head Russian delegation's visit to Iran in mid-May

MOSCOW. April 25 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina will head the country's delegation scheduled to pay a working visit to Iran in mid-May, the Information Agency of the Islamic Republic reports, citing Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Ahmad Asadzadeh.

Asadzadeh said that the delegation would visit the 27th International Exhibition of Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals of Iran that is taking place on May 17-20. There are plans to sign a number of documents on cooperation during the event.

The news agency also notes that Iran's Oil Minister Javad Owji and Novak, who co-chair the Russia-Iran intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, discussed the details of bilateral cooperation in the banking, transportation, oil and gas, and petrochemical sectors, respectively, on Monday.
