Russian GDP growth estimate in updated forecast could total 1% in 2023, 2% in 2024 - source

MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - Russian GDP growth in the neighborhood of 1% in 2023 and 2% in 2024 are currently being discussed as part of preparation of an updated macro forecast, a source familiar with the situation told reporters.

"The government has estimates of around 1% this year, 2% next year. These are current estimates, they are not yet in the official forecast, but there are such expectations in the current estimates," he said.

As reported, the Economic Development Ministry plans to present an updated macro forecast in April.
