Russian, Uzbek presidents discuss trade and economic cooperation in phone call - Kremlin

MOSCOW. April 11 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev have conducted a phone call, the Kremlin press service said on Tuesday.

"The parties discussed relevant aspects of bilateral relations, including measures to expand mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation. They reaffirmed their mutual interest in continuing to comprehensively strengthen the Russian-Uzbek strategic partnership and allied relations," it said.

Putin and Mirziyoyev agreed to continue contacts at various levels, it said.
