Adoption of AI in Russian economy nearing 20%, expected to reach 50% by 2024 - PM
MOSCOW. April 7 (Interfax) - The adoption of artificial intelligence in Russia's economy has reached about 20% and there are plans to bring the figure up to at least 50% by 2024, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
"In 2021-2024, 28 billion rubles has been provided for the AI sector. The adoption of AI in sectors of the economy is now reaching 20%. The target by 2024 is at least 50%," Mishustin was quoted as saying on the government's Telegram channel.
He said the government has a working group for the adoption of AI in sectors of the economy.
