German businesses willing to enlarge production, presence on Ukrainian market - Shmygal
MOSCOW. April 4 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal met with German Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck and representatives of a number of German companies to discuss mechanisms to enlarge their production and presence on the Ukrainian market.
"Above all, we're speaking of insurance of business risks, which should help intensify economic activities in Ukraine. We have a pilot project with MIGA and first projects with the American company DFC. We're working on finding a similar instrument with Germany, as well," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying on his social account.
Ukraine has strong potential in the critical feedstock, processing, and military-tech industries, which can provide substantial business benefits and prospects, he said.
"We also count on support and involvement of Germany and German companies in post-crisis reconstruction," Shmygal said.
