Russian and Chinese premiers to meet soon - Russian Deputy PM Chernyshenko

MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang will meet soon to update the roadmap for interstate events, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said.

"A meeting of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and his counterpart Li Qiang will take place soon. The roadmap for the large number of events ongoing in economic and social cooperation between our countries will be updated at this meeting," Chernyshenko told reporters on Thursday.

Work on the Plan-2030 is underway as part of preparations for this meeting, he said.

The Plan-2030 "also includes super-giant projects" such as the construction of the 7th and 8th power units of the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant and of the 3rd and 4th power units of the Xudabao NPP, he said.

"Or, for instance, it is the construction of the Great Wall company's automobile plant in Tula, which is already reaching certain capacity, as well as joint projects important to us such as the creation of a long-range wide-body plane or a heavy civilian plane, and a very large number of other projects," Chernyshenko said.

Emphasizing the importance of new projects, Chernyshenko said that "they also include gas terminals, the Power of Siberia 2 pipeline and many others, so the agenda is very extensive."
