Putin, Xi to have informal meeting on Monday, official talks on Tuesday - Kremlin
MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping will have an informal meeting on Monday, followed by official negotiations on Tuesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Communication between the president and the head of China will begin in the afternoon on March 20. It will be a one-on-one meeting, an informal dinner," Peskov told reporters.
"March 21 will be the day of negotiations," he added.
Peskov gave an affirmative answer to the question on whether it was planned to hold a press conference of the two presidents or to make a statement for the press at the end of the negotiations.
