Xi Jinping to visit Russia on March 20-22

MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Russia on March 20-22 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin press service said on Friday.

"During their talks, the parties will discuss key issues concerning the further development of the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China," the press service said.

Putin and Xi will also exchange views in the context of steps to deepen Russian-Chinese cooperation on the global stage, it said.

A number of important bilateral documents will be signed, it said.
