Power supply restored in Odessa

MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - Specialists of the DTEK energy holding have fully restored power supply in the Odessa region.

"DTEK specialists were working all night to repair the high-voltage equipment powering up Odessa and the Odessa region. Work was finished in the morning. Power engineers have managed to provide light to all residents of the Odessa region," Ukrainian media outlets said citing the energy holding's pages on social networks on Friday.

At the same time, the company warned that stabilization shutdowns could happen in the Odessa region during peak load hours due to damaged equipment.

It was reported earlier with a reference to Odessa regional military administration head Maxim Marchenko that damage of several power transmission lines and poles was recorded in the region on March 9.
