Russia registers 14,096 new cases of Covid-19, 39 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ
MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 14,096 new cases of Covid-19 and 39 related deaths over the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Thursday.
Russia "has recorded 14,096 new cases of Covid-19 and 1,766 patients have been hospitalized over the day, down 9.4 % from the day before," the headquarters said.
According to the headquarters, the number of hospitalizations increased in 37 Russian constituent territories, declined in 40, and remained unchanged in eight.
The daily morbidity has grown by 658 cases from 13,438 recorded on Wednesday.
Thirty-nine patients died from Covid-19 over the past day, versus 37 the day before.
"Another 13,937 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, down 15.8% from March 1," the headquarters said.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 22,300,004 cases of Covid-19, including 396,176 deaths and 21,645,346 recoveries.
