EU extends sanctions vs Russia until Feb 24, 2024 - Official Journal of EU

BRUSSELS. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The Council of the European Union has approved the extension of sanctions against Russia until February 24, 2024, the Official Journal of the EU said.

"This decision shall apply until February 24, 2024," it said.

"The Union remains unwavering in its support for [...] Ukraine," it said, adding that the decision to extend the sanctions enters into force the next day following its publication in the Official Journal of the EU.

The EU foreign ministers discussed the tenth package of anti-Russian sanctions on Monday, the EU's foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said.

The EU's Russia sanctions list already includes 1,386 individuals and 171 entities.
