France to provide 3 mln euros to fund IAEA mission at Ukrainian NPPs - French FM

MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - Nuclear safety is a matter of concern to France, which will provide 3 million euros to help finance the deployment of an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission at Ukraine's nuclear power plants (NPPs), French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said at a joint press conference with her Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba in Odessa on Thursday, according to Ukrainian media.

Colonna assured Kuleba of France's staunch support, adding that by her visit to Ukraine, she wanted to convey this message from the French president personally and from the French people.

"My visit confirms that France stands by Ukraine and supports Ukraine," she said.
