Deployment of Russian space station in 2027 to be key element of Russia's manned space program - Roscosmos

MOSCOW. Jan 24 (Interfax) - Roscosmos is planning to begin the deployment of a new Russian space station in 2027, according to Roscosmos head Yury Borisov.

"A key element [of the Russian manned space program] will be the Russian space station, the deployment of which is planned for 2027," Borisov said at a plenary meeting of the Korolyov Readings.

According to him, the International Space Station's operation will continue "as long as that is possible."
