Belarus slashes export duties on oil, petroleum products

MINSK. Jan 9 (Interfax) - Belarus has slashed duties on the export of oil and petroleum products from the customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union from January 1.

The export duty on crude oil, fuel oil, petroleum bitumen, petroleum jelly and paraffin and used petroleum products is lowered to $16.7 from $43.3 per tonne, according to a government resolution of published on the national legal information website.

The duty on straight-run gasoline is lowered to $9.1 from $23.8 per tonne, and that on commercial gasoline, diesel, light and medium distillates, benzene, toluol, xylol and lubricants to $5 from $12.9.
