Vessel to deliver Ukrainian wheat to Indonesia

NEW YORK, UN. Dec 16 (Interfax) - A bulker carrying more than 71,000 tonnes of wheat departed a Ukrainian port on Thursday, the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) said.

"The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) reports that the vessel Star Emerald left the Ukrainian port Yuzhny, carrying a total of 71,400 tonnes of wheat to ports of Indonesia, under the Black Sea Grain Initiative," the center said.

Two inbound vessels, the Sea Bridle and the Tuo Fu 8, transited the maritime humanitarian corridor under the Black Sea Grain Initiative heading towards Chernomorsk.

Also, 69 vessels able to export nearly 2.5 million tonnes of food products are waiting to move into the Ukrainian ports, and 214 loaded vessels are awaiting inspection so that they can sail to their global destinations.

"As of 15 December, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 13,990,897 tonnes. A total of 1,106 voyages (551 inbound and 555 outbound) have been enabled so far," the JCC said.
