Russia's budget revenues rise 10% in 9M 2022 - prime minister
MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax) - Russia's budget revenues rose 10% to 20 trillion rubles in 9M 2022 despite the sanctions, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting.
"The sanctions have not disrupted the stability of Russia's financial system and have not affected macroeconomic stability," Mishustin said.
Mishustin noted that, "The systemic measures taken have rendered it possible to stabilize the situation in the economy, support the activities of enterprises and entire sectors, and retain jobs in the regions."
According the prime minister, budget revenues were higher than expected in 9M 2022 by increased 10% to 20 trillion rubles. Expenditures increased 5.5% to 19.5 trillion rubles, including because of growth in payments as part of the government's social obligations.
Mishustin also drew attention to the fact that providing material assistance, services and various benefits has become even more targeted.
