Ukrainian agribusiness group Avangard reduces net loss by 95% in 2021

MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax) - Agroholding Avangard, Ukraine's largest egg producer, reduced its net loss by almost 95% to UAH28.5 million in 2021, Ukrainian media reported, citing a company statement.

The group's assets shrank by 19% to UAH20.71 billion in 2021, while its retained loss edged down 0.2% to UAH10.5 billion, the company said in a statement posted in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission on Monday.

The company's shareholders will vote on covering the 2021 net loss with future earnings at an annual general meeting on December 29.

Avangard is part of the Ukrlandfarming group, which grows grain, raises cattle, and distributes machinery, fertilizer and seeds.

The official exchange rate for November 28 was UAH36.57/$1.
