Ukrainian PM orders key agencies to work together to ensure prompt, continuous deliveries of power equipment

MOSCOW. Nov 24 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal has instructed the Energy Ministry to work in close coordination with the Foreign Ministry and the Customs Service to ensure prompt and continuous deliveries of power equipment to the country.

The government held a meeting involving the heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions and institutions abroad, the energy minister and the head of Ukrenergo, the operator of Ukraine's high-voltage power lines, Ukrainian media outlets quoted Shmygal as saying in a social media post.

"We confirmed the priority of deliveries of power equipment from partners to Ukraine, in particular equipment needed to repair damaged infrastructure and to ensure the functioning of "Points of Invincibility'. I instructed the Energy Ministry to establish round-the-clock close coordination with the Foreign Ministry and the Customs Service. Power equipment must arrive in Ukraine in a prompt and continuous manner," he said.
