Russia registers 5,631 cases of Covid-19, 54 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ
MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 5,631 new cases of Covid-19 and 54 related deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said on Wednesday.
"Russia has recorded 5,631 new cases of Covid-19 and 1,235 patients have been hospitalized over the day, down 13.9% from the day before," the headquarters said.
The number of hospitalizations has grown in 29 Russian constituent territories, has decreased in 46, and has remained unchanged in ten, it said.
Daily morbidity has risen by 1,171 cases from 4,460 cases on Tuesday but remains at the levels of late July.
Another 54 patients have died from Covid-19 over the past day, versus 59 the day before.
"Meanwhile, 6,785 patients have recovered over the day, up 5.3% from November 22," the headquarters said.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 21,550,982 cases of Covid-19, including 391,622 deaths and 20,961,317 recoveries.
