Gazprom's Purgaz secures exploration license to lower horizons of Gubkinskoye field

MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Purgaz, a division of the Gazprom Group , has secured the exploration license to the lower horizons of the Gubkinskoye oil and gas condensate field (Nizhnegubkinsky block) in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, information posted in the registry of resource blocks and licenses showed.

The license is valid until November 16, 2029.

Purgaz began producing natural gas and gas condensate at the Gubkinskoye field in 1999. The company had proven and probable gas reserves of, respectively, 73.4 billion cubic meters and 12.7 bcm as of 2020.

The controlling stake in Purgaz is held by PJSC Gazprom.
