Russia registers 4,431 new cases of Covid-19, 64 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 4,431 new cases of Covid-19 and 64 related deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Tuesday.

"Russia has recorded 4,431 new cases of Covid-19 and 1,399 patients have been hospitalized over the day, up 183.2% from the day before," the headquarters said.

The number of hospitalizations has grown in 67 Russian constituent territories, has decreased in ten, and has remained unchanged in eight, it said. The hospitalization of 494 patients was reported the day before.

The daily morbidity has decreased by 147 cases from 4,578 reported on Monday. The morbidity remains on the level of late July.

Sixty-four patients died from Covid-19 over the day, as against 61 the day before.

"Meanwhile 6,354 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, up 42.5% from November 14," the headquarters said.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 21,508,961 cases of Covid-19, including 391,149 deaths and 20,912,331 recoveries.
