Russia-China trade rises 33% to over $150 bln in 10M 2022 - Chinese customs

BEIJING. Nov 7 (Interfax) - According to Chinese customs statistics, trade between China and Russia rose 33% year-on-year to $153.93 billion in January-October 2022.

Chinese imports from Russia rose 49.9% to $94.34 billion, and exports totaled $59.59 billion, up 12.8% from the same period last year, China's General Administration of Customs said on Monday.

Trade totaled $17.63 billion in October, with Chinese imports at $10.23 billion and exports at $7.4 billion.

Russia-China trade increased 35.8% in 2021, reaching a record annual figure of $156.88 billion.
