Zelensky tells UAE president: Ukraine to remain guarantor of global food security

MOSCOW. Oct 18 (Interfax) - Ukraine will remain a guarantor of global food security, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky told President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

"Spoke to UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. We celebrated the 30th anniversary of Ukraine-UAE relations. Ukraine will remain the guarantor of global food security," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Zelensky as saying in a social media post on Monday evening.

Zelensky also thanked the UAE president for supporting Ukraine in international organizations, in particular within the United Nations.
