MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 56,126 new cases of Covid-19, or 4,391 cases more than the day before, and 99 deaths from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Thursday.

"Russia has recorded 56,126 new cases of Covid-19 and 4,108 patients have been hospitalized over the day, up 8.3% from the day before," the headquarters said.

The number of hospitalizations has grown in 25 Russian constituent territories, has decreased in 56, and has remained unchanged in four, it said.

"Another 49,752 patients have recovered over the past day, down 1% from September 14," the headquarters said.
