Russia's draft budget for three-year period will be 'complex' - Mishustin
MOSCOW. Sept 8 (Interfax) - Russia's draft budget for 2023 and the planning period for 2024-2025 is being drafted under complex conditions, though the right solutions will be found, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said confidently in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV.
The draft budget is currently under discussion at the government level, and it should be submitted to the State Duma by October 1.
"The scale of the sanctions imposed against Russia today and the attempts by 'unfriendly' countries to block our operations, our exports, our imports, logistics corridors, and the possibility to support our activities financially are all posing complex tasks for forming our budget," Mishustin said in the interview.
"This will not be easy, but, believe me, we will discuss it professionally and absolutely find all the necessary solutions to ensure fulfilling all the government's main tasks," the prime minister said.
