MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) - Italy is allotting a 200-million-euro interest-free loan to Ukraine; the money will go to the budget for the payment of salaries to general education teachers.

Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko signed the loan agreement last Friday, the Ukrainian media said with the reference to the Finance Ministry.

The 15-year loan has a 7.5-year grace period.

"The Italian government was one of the first to support Ukraine. I am pleased to sign a new loan agreement today, which will help the Ukrainian government maintain financial stability and fund the primary social expenses," the press release quoted Marchenko as saying.
