Ukrainian FM: next ships with food exports ready for departure

MOSCOW. Aug 4 (Interfax) - The next vessels are now ready to leave Ukraine under the agreements reached as part of the so-called grain initiative, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.

"The next ships are already prepared for departure. They will depart from the ports which take part in the grain initiative in accordance with the agreed schedule. We hope that all this will work," the Ukrainian media quoted Kuleba as saying at a press conference with Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu in Kyiv on Wednesday.

As of this point, the agreements reached under the grain deal are being implemented, he said.

"We will continue to strictly fulfill this agreement. It benefits Ukrainian farmers. It benefits the Ukrainian economy. It benefits the world," Kuleba said.
