Rosaviatsia extends temporary ban on flights to airports in southern Russia until Aug 5

MOSCOW. July 28 (Interfax) - The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has extended the temporary closure of airports in central and southern Russia until August 5.

Flights remain suspended to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista, a Rosaviatsia spokesperson told reporters.

These restrictions were first introduced by Rosaviatsia on February 24, the day when the special military operation began in Ukraine.
