Head of Zelensky's Office: Only talks now ongoing with Russia are about unblocking Ukrainian ports

MOSCOW. July 20 (Interfax) - The only negotiations taking place with Russia at the moment are talks on unblocking the Ukrainian seaports, head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's Office Andriy Yermak said.

"As regards negotiations with the Russian Federation, the only talks that are ongoing today are the talks on unblocking our ports. They are taking place at the level of our militaries and at the level of the Foreign Ministry, but only through the UN's mediation," the Ukrainian media quoted Yermak as saying in an interview with the NV media outlet.

Yermak said that he is communicating with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, but "is not communicating with the Russians."

"I think that we have certain progress here. But our no. 1 issue is security," he said.
