Ukrainian agricultural exports stand at about 1/3 of pre-crisis amounts

MOSCOW. July 5 (Interfax) - Ukraine is exporting agricultural produce at about one-third of pre-crisis amounts, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2022 in Lugano.

"We are using roads, railroads and Danube ports. This way, we are trying to broaden the capacity for exporting our products amid the blocking of Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea. Unfortunately, all of these measures are unable to compensate for 5 million to 7 million tonnes of agricultural produce we used to supply per month before February 24. We have regained about 30% of that amount," Kubrakov said.

A number of Danube ports have tripled the exports, compared to the peacetime amounts, he said.
