IRC appoints new CEO

MOSCOW. July 4 (Interfax) - The iron ore producer IRC has appointed Denis Cherednichenko, former head of Rusatom Healthcare of the Rosatom state nuclear energy corporation, as its new CEO, IRC said in a statement.

Danila Kotlyarov, who had been IRC's acting CEO since the end of May, has been appointed the company's CFO. Nikolai Levitsky, IRC co-owner and chairman of the board of directors, has remained as a non-executive director, resigning as an authorized representative.

The board's composition has remained the same. In addition to Levitsky, the board includes independent member Dmitry Dobryak; Natalya Ozhegina, former deputy director for Human Resources at Rosseti , currently working at Moscow State Institute of Foreign Affairs; Alexei Romanenko, chairman of the board of directors at NEO Center consulting company; and Vitaly Sheremet, former partner at KPMG Russia and the CIS.

IRC is the sole iron ore producer in Russia's Far East. The main asset, Kimkano-Sutarsky GOK in the Jewish Autonomous Region, produces concentrate with an iron content of 65%.
