Ukrainian PM's dismissal is not under consideration - Servant of the People faction leader Arakhamia

MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada has not proposed considering Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal's dismissal, David Arakhamia, leader of the pro-presidential Servant of the People parliamentary faction, said on social media on Thursday.

"As usual, media reports on reshuffles engender a lot of talk and rumors, which don't help work. Therefore, some clarity needs to be added. Officially: neither the faction, nor the parliament in general has considered or discussed the prime minister's replacement," Ukrainian media quoted Arakhamia as saying.

Denys Shmyhal is doing his job well, both at home and abroad, he said.

"As concerns other government members, pinpoint rotations have taken place in the Cabinet of Ministers on a regular basis. Reshuffles are possible anytime, and this hasn't been a secret to anyone for a long time now. And when such decisions are made, we'll announce them," he said.
