Russia registers 3,106 new cases of Covid-19, 56 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ

MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 3,106 new cases of Covid-19, as well as 1,195 hospitalizations and 56 deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Thursday.

"As of June 30, Russia recorded 3,106 new cases of Covid-19 and 1,195 patients were hospitalized, down 10.4% from the previous day," the headquarters said.

The number of hospitalizations increased in 34 Russian constituent territories, fell in 37, and remained unchanged in 14, it said.

Over past day, 56 patients died from Covid-19 versus 54 the day before.

The number of Covid-19 cases edged up from 3,028 infections reported on Wednesday.

"Another 3,255 patients have recovered over the past day, down 11.5% from June 29," the headquarters said.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 18,430,239 cases of Covid-19, including 381,112 deaths and 17,858,217 recoveries.
