Ukrainian cos book 147 MW of transmission capacity to export electricity to Poland, 420 MW for Moldova at auction

MOSCOW. June 28 (Interfax) - Ukrainian traders booked all transmission capacity offered by Ukrenergo at a monthly auction to distribute interconnection capacity to export electricity to Poland and export and import it to and from Moldova.

DTEK Zakhidenergo booked 145 MW of interconnection capacity to export electricity to Poland and LTK Electrum - 2 MW. The purchase price was UAH 0.39/MWh; in total Ukrenergo expects to receive UAH 42,650 from the sale, Ukrainian media report.

Artlex-Energy booked 280 MW of capacity for supply to Moldova, D.Trading - 100 MW, UkrGas Resource - 30 MW and Unex - 10 MW. The price was UAH 0.01/MWh, and the total sale UAH 3,120.

Ukrenergo sold 560 MW of capacity to import electricity from Moldova, 447 MW of it to Stimex, 103 MW to Artlex Energy and 10 MW to Unex. The price was UAH 0 (zero) per MWh.

Four companies booked 420 MW of capacity to export power to Moldova in June: D. Trading bought 403 MW, LTK Elektrum - 10 MW, UkrGaz Resource - 5 MW, and GS-Trading - 2 MW.

Stimex booked 560 MW capacity to import of electricity from Moldova at UAH 0 hryvni per MWh.

DTEK Zakhidenergo started exporting up to 210 MW to Poland since the end of March and booked 141 MW of export capacity at the monthly auction for June plus 69 MW at each daily auction held throughout the month. UkrGaz Resource bought another 6 MW.

DTEK Zakhidenergo actually supplied electricity to Poland at a rate of 210 MW in June; and Energoatom at 150 MW to Moldova, booking interconnection capacity at daily auctions.

There were no supplies from Moldova.

Ukraine is waiting for ENTSO-E to approve an additional 100 MW of capacity for export.
