Zelensky invites G7 to join work on security guarantees for Ukraine

MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has invited the Group of Seven countries to join the work on security guarantees for Ukraine, the Ukrainian media quoted the Office of the President press service as saying.

Zelensky attended the G7 leaders' summit in Germany on Monday by video link.

These guarantees will help prevent possible conflicts in the future, he said.

Zelensky also reiterated the importance of unblocking Ukrainian grain exports, calling on the G7 leaders to consider forming effective mechanisms to ensure food security worldwide.

Furthermore, the Ukrainian president underscored the significance of Ukraine's post-crisis rebuilding, adding that it will be the largest project of modern times, participation in which will help make the G7 countries much stronger.
