Transneft must replace imported communication and data transmission systems, laboratory and metrological equipment

MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax) - The share of domestic equipment in the procurement structure of Transneft is 95.7%, and dependence on imported components is observed mainly in the areas of microelectronics and computing technology, Transneft vice president Pavel Revel-Muroz said at a round table in the State Duma on the topic of import substitution in the fuel and energy complex.

"What equipment remains imported? These are communication and data transmission systems, laboratory and metrological equipment, measuring equipment, computer equipment, electrical equipment, metalworking equipment, spare parts for imported CNC metalworking equipment in operation, microcircuits, electronic modules, and connectors," Revel-Muroz said.

Revel-Muroz noted that Transneft is currently implementing a program for import substitution of foreign-made spare parts and components. Priority is given to manufacturing equipment that has no analogues, as well as to equipment whose stocks are depleted.

Revel-Muroz added that the monopoly intends to spend at least 35 billion rubles in order to purchase domestic equipment in 2022-2026.
