Macron, Scholz and Draghi arrive in Kyiv

MOSCOW. June 16 (Interfax) - French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Graghi have already arrived in Kyiv.

"They have arrived! The third stage of the president's visit," the Ukrainian media quoted French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna as saying on Twitter. Colonna's post also features a photo showing the platform of Kyiv's railway station.

Video footage that shows Macron and Scholz, accompanied by security guards and journalists, separately walking on the railway station's platform was published on social media later.

Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) earlier published on Telegram a photo that shows the leaders of France, Germany and Italy jointly traveling in a Ukrainian rail carriage.

Apart from that, the Ukrainian media announced the arrival of Romanian President Klaus Iohannis in Kyiv.

"In Kyiv today with my European colleagues German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi to show our strong support and full solidarity with President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian people," Iohannis said on Twitter on Thursday.
