Rosaviatsia extends temporary ban on flights to airports in southern Russia until June 24

MOSCOW. June 16 (Interfax) - The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has extended the temporary closure of airports in central and southern Russia for the 19th time, this time until June 24.

"Flights are suspended to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista," a Rosaviatsia spokesperson said.

These restrictions were first introduced by Rosaviatsia on February 24, the day when the special military operation began in Ukraine.
