CPC to ship oil via one SPM for 10 days starting on June 15 owing to planned survey of water area, will fulfill all requests from shippers

MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax) - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) will ship oil from only one of the three single point moorings (SPM) in the next 10 days owing to a planned survey of the water area, the CPC said in a statement.

"The operation of SPM-1 and SPM-2 from June 15 to 25 will not be carried out as part of a planned shutdown. The operation of SPM-3 is being carried out in the normal procedure, which will allow fulfilling the requests of shippers," the consortium said.

The work is part of the program of preventive maintenance, and all concerned parties have been notified about the operation stoppage of the mooring facilities.
