Putin, Vucic agree that Russia will further supply natural gas to Serbia without interruption - Kremlin

MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic have agreed in a telephone conversation that Russia will further supply natural gas to Serbia, the Kremlin press service said in a statement on Sunday.

"Putin and Vucic discussed issues on the current bilateral agenda, including steps to expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation. In particular, it was agreed that Russia would further supply natural gas to Serbia without interruption," the Russian presidential press service said.

The sides "continued exchanging views on a number of international subjects, including the situation in Ukraine and developments around Kosovo," it said.

"They confirmed mutual determination to consistently strengthen the strategic partnership between Russia and Serbia on the basis of traditionally close ties between the people of the two countries," it said.
