Ukrenergo received USEA award for cooperation in synchronizing with European energy system

MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - The Ukrenergo national energy company of Ukraine has received the International Partner of the Year Award from the United States Energy Association (USEA), Ukrenergo CEO Volodymyr Kudrytskyi said.

"As we prepare for synchronization with ENTSO-E, along with European partners, we closely cooperate with the USEA and other organizations from the U.S., such as the USAID Energy Security Project and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. They have helped us at the expert and technical levels to test power generating units of Ukrainian power stations," Kudrytskyi said on social media.

Ukraine's successful integration into the European energy system and opportunities that have opened up are the result of joint work of the entire Ukrenergo team with international partners, he said.

Ukrenergo operates trunk and interstate power grids, as well as the centralized dispatching process of the country's unified energy system.
