Alexander Rozenberg, who has been agriculture minister since Jan, becomes new PM of Transdniestria

TIRASPOL. May 27 (Interfax) - The Supreme Council of the self-proclaimed Transdniestrian Republic, approved the new composition of the government led by Alexander Rozenberg at the suggestion of Transdniestrian leader Vadim Krasnoselsky on Friday.

The new cabinet of ministers was approved on Friday unanimously.

The cabinet of ministers resigned after Alexander Martynov resigned as prime minister. Immediately after that, the head of Transdniestria proposed to the Supreme Council the candidacy of Alexander Rozenberg for the post of prime minister.

Alexander Nikolayevich Rozenberg was born on October 18, 1967. He worked in various positions in Transdniestria, including for the Tiraspol Grain Processing plant between March 1, 2012 and January 19, 2022. He was appointed agriculture and natural resources minister of Transdniestria under a decree issued by the president of Transdniestria on January 19, 2022.
