EBRD lending 20 mln euros to Ukrainian pharmaceuticals firm Farmak
MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has issued a 20-million-euro loan to JSC Farmak, a leading Ukrainian pharmaceuticals manufacturer, the EBRD said in a press release.
"The EBRD is lending €20 million to a leading Ukrainian pharmaceuticals manufacturer, JSC Farmak, under its €2 billion Resilience and Livelihoods Framework," the bank said.
The overall size of this program is 2 billion euros, Ukrainian media said, citing the EBRD press release.
According to the EBRD, a first loss risk guarantee of 5.5% will be provided through the EBRD's Shareholder Special Fund Risk Sharing Program. Thus, the total donor guarantee will cover 50% of the loan amount.
