Energoatom practically doubles contributions to budget since year beginning to UAH8.9 bln

KYIV. May 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine (Energoatom) has practically doubled contributions to the Ukrainian budget, compared to January-May 2021, to UAH8.9 billion paid since the beginning of 2022.

The company said on Telegram it made yet another payment on Thursday in the amount of UAH2.6 billion, a part of its 2021 net profit.

As reported earlier, Energoatom paid over UAH4.8 billion to the national budget in the first quarter of this year, or a third or almost UAH1.2 billion more than in the relevant period of last year.
